Synopsis

When a workaholic aspiring bakery owner sets out to find a date for her best friend’s wedding, her carefully controlled life begins to unravel. Forced to confront her avoidance of intimacy, she must decide whether success means building her dream alone, or allowing others into her life. Set across a series of intimate encounters that never quite go as planned, the film explores the tension between ambition and joy, asking what it really means to prioritize the relationships that nourish us. Strawberry Milkshake is a tender, quietly funny portrait of a young woman learning that ambition doesn’t have to come at the expense of meaningful connection.
